Amanda is a passionate stylist with a love for color and extensions, bringing beauty to life one transformation at a time. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her soaking up the great outdoors, camping under the stars, or spending time with her husband and furbabies. She loves seeing the joy that comes from a stunning makeover and believes in the power of beauty to boost confidence and brighten lives and that beauty starts with self-expression.

I have been in the Beauty industry since 2012. Holding licenses in both Cosmetology for all your hair needs & Esthetics to get a further deeper look into skin care. Ashlin is a second-year student at James Madison College at Michigan State University, pursuing a degree in International Relations and Business on a Pre-Law Track. She hopes to pursue a career in law and public policy. Ashlin loves to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoys welcoming new people into the salon, as meeting and connecting with others is something she truly loves! Her favorite part about working at the salon is watching clients walk out feeling confident and beautiful in their own skin!

Guest Services

Comes to KDS through Livonia Public Schools Transition Program. Her responsibilities include greeting guests and keeping the salon clean, bright and shining. Miracle is always happy and smiling. She loves dancing, lattes, writing letters and coloring.

Makeup Artist

Born in Canada started doing makeup at the young age of 15 for “Faces” a Canadian makeup brand.

Moved to the USA and started teaching makeup and skin care classes at John Casablancas in 1996. From there I began to freelance makeup jobs for photoshoots, model portfolios, fashion shows, weddings, proms and everything in between! My passion is gentle natural makeup which brings out your natural beauty!

Makeup Artist

Started her makeup artist career when she was 18 at Hudson’s,then moved Jacobsons where she worked and trained w/all major cosmetics brands

She worked as an esthetician at many local high end salons Including Geralds, Matthew Thomas and Vanity. Trudy now has a very successful home based beauty business and shares her time with KDS. In her spare time she likes to read, watch Netflix docs and walk. She is a history buff with a passion for WW2 and the holocaust. She loves to cook and is the mother of two adult daughters

Dany graduated from The Paul Mitchell School in 2014, and has been doing hair ever since. He likes to attend hair shows and classes regularly. He has a passion for color. When Dany isn’t behind the chair his favorite thing to do is going out to the gym. He loves horror movies, but his favorite movie is Blood Diamond. His favorite food is pizza and pasta.
His preferred product lines are Olaplex, Zenagen, and WOW. Olaplex for overall hair repair, Zenagen for hair growth, and WOW for styling. His Favorite tools are Dyson and Olivia Garden brushes.

Owner

After 30 years of thinking and dreaming about owning a salon, the timing was right for Cindi and her family. She became the new owner of En Unison Salon in January of 2019, which she later named to Katherine Drew Salon. The new name has significant meaning to Cindi as Katherine is her mother’s name and Drew is the name of her godfather. Her two daughters share those for their formal names, Olivia Katherine and Madison Drew. Cindi enjoys spending her time marketing and interacting with the guests. It isn’t uncommon to see her out on the floor chatting with guests, serving coffee and even sweeping. This salon is really a dream come true for her and the saying “Do something you love and love what you do” is so true in this scenario.
Cindi has a love of anything outdoors including gardening and anything related to the water. She is a certified yoga instructor with a specialty in therapeutic yoga and has a consistent practice of her own. Over the past few years Cindi has incorporated the healing effects of essential oils, positive thinking and gratitude into her life and considers Katherine Drew Salon a direct outcome of this shift in her life.

Ashlin is a part of the concierge team. She loves to meet and talk to new people. She’s a senior at Northville High School and plans to purse a career in Psychology. She loves hanging out with her friends and family. She loves working at the salon because it allows her to meet a variety of new people and she loves working with the staff. She also enjoys watching people walk out of the salon feeling one hundred times more confident in their own skin!

Licensed massage therapist

Taryn worked for many years in the corporate world, took a few years off to stay home with her children, then decided to join our front desk team. She loves spending time with her husband and three girls: Lila, Sadie, and Nora. They enjoy being outside, swimming, and trying new restaurants. Taryn’s favorite thing about Katherine Drew Salon is meeting so many wonderful clients.

Paramedical and Cosmetic Tattoos

I adore greeting our guests when they walk through the front door and getting to know all of the familiar faces. Along with scheduling appointments for the stylists, I also work in the spa room. There, I specialize in paramedical and cosmetic tattoos. We offer inkless stretch mark rejuvenation, scar camouflage and saline tattoo lightning.

Helping others walk out of the salon feeling like their best self is what I love most about what we do here. I am always happy to have a conversation about all the wonderful services we offer at the salon and getting better acquainted with our guests.

I’ve been working in a salon for 15 yrs. I like to keep my day busy by doing a variety of services: All Hair, lashes, brows, facials and microblading. I worked hard in an office for many years prior to getting my cosmetology license and there is nothing I’d rather be doing.

Debbie enjoys doing all types of services and also specializes in Men’s cuts. She has been married to Joe for 7 years however they have known one another for over 25 yrs. They enjoy traveling up north to visit friends as well as Nashville and Las Vegas to visit family. She is referred to as both Nana and Gigi by her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. “That’s what happens when you marry young!” Debbie’s other motto is Enjoy Life!

Sharon has been married for 24 years and has a 19 year old daughter. She has a brother and a sister to whom she is very close. When not working her favorite thing to do is go Up North to the family cottage and go for walks. Her favorite books and movies are history, mysteries and romance. And her favorite food is Italian and Mexican. Sharon’s favorite product is the Awapuhi Wild Ginger styling treatment oil It smooths, seals, hydrates the hair with amazing shine and the Hydro Whip for fullness, moisture, shine and hold.

Stylist/Lash Technician/Hydrafacialist

Patricia recently returned to Michigan to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter after managing a salon for many years in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Patricia’s services include all things “Above The Mask” lash extensions, lash and brow tinting, lash lift/perm, facial waxing, threading, microblading and Hydrafacials. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking down the Au Sable and spending quality time with her family.
